Clayton-Johnston Atty Joins Fla. Judicial Commission

Law360, Miami (August 7, 2013, 5:01 PM EDT) -- Florida Gov. Rick Scott announced Tuesday the appointment of attorney Leonard E. Ireland Jr., president of Clayton-Johnston PA, to serve on the state's Eighth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission.

Ireland, who was selected from a list of nominees submitted by the Florida Bar, will serve a term ending July 1, 2016. Florida's various judicial nominating commissions review candidates for positions on the state's Supreme Court and district courts of appeal and for midterm vacancies in the trial courts, according to the Florida Bar.
