Patent Co. Lacks Domestic Industry, HP Tells ITC

Law360, New York (August 21, 2013, 1:59 PM ET) -- Hewlett-Packard Co. told the U.S. International Trade Commission on Monday that one of its judges incorrectly ruled a patent licensing company that sued HP, Acer Inc., Canon Inc. and other companies for infringing five of its patents had a domestic industry the Tariff Act was meant to protect.
