Aluminum Co. Wise Alloys Ducks Class Cert. In OT Suit

Law360, New York (September 24, 2013, 11:59 AM ET) -- An Alabama federal judge on Monday declined to certify a putative class of workers in their suit against aluminum sheet manufacturer Wise Alloys LLC alleging that the company forced its employees to work off the clock and subsequently denied them overtime wages.

U.S. District Judge Karon Owen Bowdre signed off on recommendations made by a magistrate judge in August that denied class certification because lead plaintiff Kenny Greenhill failed to submit substantial allegations to the court.
