Okla. AG Urges DOJ To Approve $14B AA-US Airways Deal

Law360, New York (October 04, 2013, 3:19 PM ET) -- Oklahoma’s attorney general on Thursday urged the U.S. Department of Justice to approve the $14 billion merger of AMR Corp. and US Airways Group Inc., saying the deal would rescue AMR’s bankrupt American Airlines Inc. and protect thousands of jobs in the state.
