US Time-Barred From Seeking Customs Bond, Hartford Says

Law360, New York (October 09, 2013, 6:08 PM ET) -- Hartford Insurance Co. on Wednesday asked the U.S. Court of International Trade to force the federal government to repay it for customs bond payments it made on behalf of a Chinese mushroom importer, saying the government’s efforts to collect the money were time-barred.
