Conn. Jumps Into Zyprexa Fray With Lawsuit

Law360, New York (March 07, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Eli Lilly & Co. was hit with a new lawsuit Thursday over its controversial anti-psychotic drug Zyprexa, this time filed by the state of Connecticut.

Echoing allegations that Eli Lilly already faces in a massive multidistrict litigation in the Eastern District of New York, Connecticut alleges that Eli Lilly first overcharged for the drug and then marketed it through a fraudulent campaign that concealed its possible link to diabetes.
