EIB Lends Spain €465M For Road Improvements

Law360, New York (December 18, 2013, 2:25 PM EST) -- The European Investment Bank said Wednesday it will lend Spain €465 million ($640 million) toward improving road safety by rehabilitating the country's national road network.

The money provided by the loan agreement — which was signed Wednesday by Spanish Minister of Public Works Ana Pastor and EIB Vice President Magdalena Alvarez Arza — will help finance a variety of infrastructure works on the country's national road network, including the construction of bypasses and access roads and the upgrade and widening of national roads, according to a...
