NC Doctors Say Medicaid Software Bugs Cost Them Millions

Law360, New York (January 16, 2014, 4:29 PM EST) -- A group of North Carolina doctors filed a putative class action Thursday against the state Department of Health and Human Services and its contractors over their flawed computer program that allegedly caused delays in Medicaid reimbursements.

According to the lawsuit filed in North Carolina court, managers at the state's DHHS and contractors Computer Sciences Corp., Maximus Consulting Services and SLI Global Solutions launched the program NCTracks in order to streamline the filing of Medicaid claims and payments.
