9th Circ. Revives Enviro Suit Over Arctic Drilling Leases

Law360, New York (January 22, 2014, 6:53 PM ET) -- The Ninth Circuit revived a lawsuit challenging the federal government’s approval of controversial oil drilling permits in the Alaskan Arctic, finding Wednesday that the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management made mistakes in estimating how much oil might be recoverable in the area.
