FDA Floats Criteria To Gauge Food Contamination Risks

Law360, New York (February 3, 2014, 4:24 PM EST) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration will identify high-risk foods under the Food Safety Modernization Act by relying on criteria including the frequency of illnesses associated with those foods, severity of those illnesses and chances for contamination, the agency said Monday.
