Toys R Us Pays $4M To Settle Wage-Hour Class Action

Law360, New York (March 4, 2014, 6:59 PM EST) -- Toys R Us Inc. agreed Monday to pay $4 million to settle a class action in California federal court over claims that it committed meal, break, overtime and minimum-wage violations in three stores in the state.

About 39,000 current and former employees comprise the class, which has made wage and hour claims alleging Toys R Us’ policies violated California's labor laws.
