ECB Outlines Bank Inspection Protocol For Regulators

Law360, Washington (March 11, 2014, 6:17 PM EDT) -- The European Central Bank on Tuesday published its manual instructing regulators how to review the asset quality of big banks subject to inspection by the European Parliament’s new banking oversight process.

The 285-page manual is part of the ECB’s second phase of assessing the asset quality of 128 of Europe’s largest banks, which will run until August, according to an ECB statement.
