Atty Who Called Pa. Judges Corrupt Reprimanded In NJ

Law360, New York (March 19, 2014, 3:11 PM EDT) -- The New Jersey Supreme Court has reprimanded a Great Western Mineral and Mining Co. Inc. attorney for accusing the Pennsylvania judiciary of widespread corruption as part of company lawsuits claiming conflicts tainted a legal malpractice arbitration, according to an order posted Tuesday.

The high court agreed with the state Disciplinary Review Board that Benjamin C. Weiner violated a state Rule of Professional Conduct against making a statement with reckless disregard for its truth or falsity concerning the qualifications of a judge.
