Balfour Beatty Among 112 That Fixed Prices: U.K. OFT

Law360, New York (April 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After a long-running investigation into alleged bid-rigging in the construction industry, the U.K. Office of Fair Trading has issued a statement of objections accusing more than 100 firms of conspiring to fix prices.

The statement, issued Thursday, names several of the U.K.'s largest construction companies, including Balfour Beatty, Carillon, Connaught and Kier Group.
