Law360, New York (April 24, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- LSI Corp. fired off a suit last week against United Microelectronics Corp. and a slew of other semiconductor manufacturers, alleging infringement of its patent related to semiconductor devices.
The chip designer and a subsidiary, Agere Systems Inc., lodged the complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas accusing many of the industry's leading semiconductor makers of infringing several of its patent's claims.
