Deals Rumor Mill: BP, RWE Group, Avolon Holdings

By Benjamin Horney (August 22, 2014, 6:11 PM EDT) -- BP PLC is set to drop $9.3 billion over the next decade to expand its filling station network and develop oil and gas projects in Australia, Bloomberg reported Friday. According to the report, BP plans to open 12 new filling stations within the next year, and could look to acquire additional assets. Andy Holmes, president of BP's Australasia business, reportedly said in a recent interview that the company could also spend more than $931 million on a deepwater drilling campaign off the southern coast of Australia, Bloomberg said....
