Law360, New York (November 13, 2014, 10:28 AM EST) -- Matthew Martoma, a former trader at SAC Capital Advisors LP who was sentenced to nine years in prison for insider trading, was originally scheduled to report to prison earlier this week. But on Oct. 29, he filed an emergency motion asking the federal appeals court in Manhattan to let him remain free while he challenges his convictions, causing the court to temporarily delay his incarceration.
