MTBE Judge Backpedals On Expert Testimony Ruling

Law360, New York (June 26, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The judge overseeing a bellwether case that is part of the multidistrict litigation involving claims of groundwater contamination will allow a previously excluded plaintiffs' expert to offer limited testimony in the case.

Judge Shira Scheindlin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Tuesday partially granted the plaintiffs' motion to reconsider her earlier ruling that Dr. William S. Cain can't testify in the suit.
