Burst.com Files Counterclaims Against Apple

Law360, New York (April 18, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Media delivery technology company Burst.com has filed patent infringement claims to counter a lawsuit brought by Apple Computers Inc. over technology used in Apple’s iTunes, iPod and QuickTime streaming products.

“Burst.com filed its counterclaim saying that Apple infringed on four of its patents,” said counsel to Burst.com, Michael Heim of the law firm of Heim Payne & Chorush LLP.
