Ex-Credit Suisse Broker MIA

Law360, New York (July 31, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- One of the two former Credit Suisse Group brokers under suspicion for allegedly lying to investors about the nature of the auction rate securities they bought has reportedly disappeared, possibly back to his native Bulgaria.

On Thursday, the Wall Street Journal reported that Julian Tzolov was missing and could be hiding in Eastern Europe, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.

The supposed slip took place as federal prosecutors are allegedly gearing up to bring criminal charges against Tzolov and Eric Butler, the Journal said....
