Fried Frank Confirms Support Staff Layoffs

Law360, New York (August 19, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- In the wake of attorney layoffs at other firms, Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson LLP has announced that it is letting go an unspecified number of its support staff.

According to the blog AboveTheLaw.com, which first reported the layoffs Monday, Fried Frank fired between 50 and 60 members of its support staff, including floating secretaries, part-time assistants, paralegals and library personnel.
