Celestica, Others Settle FLSA Suit For $1.7M

Law360, New York (August 22, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Electronics maker Celestica Corp. and two staffing agencies have agreed to pay $1.7 million to more than 1,900 employees to settle two related lawsuits in which workers alleged that they should have been compensated for time spent donning and doffing safety gear.

The plaintiffs filed a motion to approve the settlement Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
