Merrill Employee Can't Lure NatCity Clients: Judge

Law360, New York (September 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A U.S. judge has denied a former National City Corp. financial consultant's request to lift an order stopping him from poaching the clients of his ex-employer, which is accusing him of violating a non-solicitation agreement.

Judge James Gwin rejected the defendant's motion to vacate the temporary restraining order on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, finding that NatCity would incur lasting damage without an injunction.
