EEOC Accuses Sterling Jewelers Of Sex Bias

Law360, New York (September 24, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Commission has filed a gender discrimination lawsuit against Sterling Jewelers Inc., the nation's largest jeweler, accusing it of discriminating against female employees across the country.

The Civil Rights Act suit against Sterling, the parent of Kay Jewelers, was filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York.
