Welding Fume Plaintiffs Break With Pack

Law360, New York (November 07, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The plaintiffs in the multidistrict welding fume trials have decided to take a different tack, opting to revise their complaints to pursue product liability claims on an individual basis, rather than classwide.

On Thursday, plaintiff Compton McCairo filed an amended complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, stripping the suit of any class-related language.
