Law360, New York (November 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A group of technology companies, including LG Electronics Mobilecomm USA, Motorola Inc. and Symantec Corp., has asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit to reconsider its September ruling upholding a ban on Qualcomm Inc.'s cellular chips and software, saying the court had inadvertently lowered the standard for willful infringement.
