Lowe's Can't Escape Idaho Age Discrimination Suit

Law360, New York (December 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has rejected North Carolina-based home improvement giant Lowe's Cos. Inc.'s argument that the court lacked personal jurisdiction over it, leaving a putative collective action age discrimination suit against the company and a subsidiary free to proceed.

Judge Edward J. Lodge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho signed off on a memorandum order on Friday denying LCI's motions to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction and for improper venue.
