Solar, Wind Cos. Call For 'Green Superhighways'

Law360, New York (February 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A coalition of wind and solar power companies has published a report warning that America's current electrical grid is not sufficient to accommodate growing renewable energy production, and calling for the creation of “green power superhighways” to fill the gap.

The report was published Feb. 18 by the American Wind Energy Association and the Solar Energy Industries Association, which include numerous wind and solar power producers.
