Fed. Circ. Sides With USPTO In Tafas Case

Law360, New York (March 20, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Sending shock waves across the patent community, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has sided for the most part with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in a long-running legal battle over a set of fiercely contested rules that the agency says are necessary to clear a growing backlog.
