Law360, New York (September 25, 2009, 2:42 PM ET) -- London-based Allen & Overy LLP will have to rehire a banking associate from its Frankfurt, Germany, office who sued the firm for wrongfully letting her go as part of a massive sweep of layoffs, a German court has ruled.
Frankfurt's labor court ruled Sept. 23 in favor of the associate, who launched the suit in August disputing her notice of termination, the firm confirmed through a spokeswoman.
