AmEx Fights Drugstores' Bid For Australian Docs

Law360, New York (April 27, 2010, 2:29 PM ET) -- American Express Co. is fighting a discovery request by plaintiffs Rite Aid Corp., CVS Pharmacy Inc., Walgreen Co. and others to compel the credit card company to turn over information from its Australian offices in relation to allegations that it has violated federal antitrust laws by imposing anti-competitive rules on merchants.
