Law360, New York (April 30, 2010, 4:47 PM ET) -- A federal judge has approved a settlement in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act class action stemming from a layoff at a company owned by private equity firm ComVest Investment Partners LLC.
Judge Edmund A. Sargus Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio signed off Thursday on a magistrate judge's recommendation to approve the deal, which calls for ComVest and Inoveris LLC, which does business as Zomax Inc., to pay out $130,000.
