Law360, New York (May 09, 2011, 5:11 PM ET) -- A New York federal judge on Friday ordered disgraced celebrity money manager Kenneth Ira Starr to pay more than $30 million in restitution to eight of his former clients.
Starr was sentenced in March to 7 1/2 years in prison for stealing about $24 million from his clients and fraudulently investing another $9 million. Judge Shira A. Scheindlin, who issued the sentence, signed off on the restitution order.
