Former UBP GC Sues Over 'Disappointing' Bonus

Law360, New York (May 11, 2011, 4:14 PM ET) -- A Union Bancaire Privee UBP SA general counsel fired in January accused the Swiss bank in New York state court on Tuesday of breaching an oral contract to pay her a competitive bonus for her help with the fallout from the Bernard L. Madoff scandal.

Elena G. De Madariaga accused New York-based UBP Asset Management LLC of committing fraud and breaching an oral contract for allegedly failing to pay her the competitive compensation package promised in 2010.
