Judge Drops MDL Status For Merchants Against AmEx

Law360, New York (August 04, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A magistrate judge has ordered the random reassignment of five separate suits brought by drugstores and grocery stores that accuse American Express Co. of imposing rules on merchants who accept the company's credit card in violation of federal antitrust laws.
