Deals Rumor Mill: Hostess, ProSiebenSat.1, Ferrari

By Linda Chiem (July 7, 2015, 7:17 PM EDT) -- Hostess Brands LLC, the Texas maker of Twinkies and Ding Dongs snacks, is considering pursuing an initial public offering, Reuters reported Tuesday. Hostess, which billionaire C. Dean Metropoulos and private equity giant Apollo Global Management LLC bought out of bankruptcy in 2013 for $140 million, has reportedly shelved plans to put itself up for sale. Hostess snubbed offers in recent weeks from other companies and private equity firms that valued the company at between $2.4 billion and $2.5 billion, including debt, according to Reuters. However, in a statement to Reuters, Metropoulos said it was premature to consider either a sale of Hostess or an IPO....
