Law360, New York (February 15, 2011, 3:17 PM ET) -- The owner of a soon-to-be-opened Indianapolis restaurant called Tavern on the Plaza is seeking a court order that the name does not infringe the trademark for New York's bankrupt Tavern on the Green.
White Lodging Services Corp. filed the declaratory judgment suit on Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, naming as defendants Tavern on the Green bankruptcy trustee Jil Mazer-Marino of Meyer Suozzi English & Klein PC and the restaurant's former owner, LeRoy Adventures Inc.
