Law360, New York (May 15, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A state judge has overturned a California town's approval of a Wal-Mart Supercenter near Joshua Tree National Park, concluding that an environmental analysis ignored the potential impacts of the project's greenhouse gas emissions.
On Thursday, Judge Barry L. Plotkin of the Superior Court of the State of California for the County of San Bernardino granted the Center for Biological Diversity's petition to set aside the Town of Yucca Valley's approval of the massive Wal-Mart.
