Barnes & Noble Accused Of Stealing E-Reader Design

Law360, New York (November 03, 2009, 3:07 PM ET) -- California technology company Spring Design Inc. has accused Barnes & Noble Inc. of stealing its design for a new e-book device and incorporating the features into the Nook e-reader the company announced last month.

The suit, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, accuses Barnesandnoble.com LLC of violating a nondisclosure agreement and misappropriating Spring's trade secrets.
