Law360, New York (August 04, 2010, 3:55 PM ET) -- The former vice president of sales for Taiwan-based Chi Mei Optoelectronics Corp. has agreed to plead guilty and serve nine months in prison for conspiring to fix the prices of thin film transistor liquid crystal displays, the U.S. Department of Justice said Wednesday.
Chen-Lung Kuo will also pay a $35,000 criminal fine and assist the agency's antitrust division with its ongoing investigation if the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California accepts his plea bargain agreement with prosecutors.
