Law360, New York (March 15, 2012, 7:23 PM ET) -- PG&E Corp. will pay $3.6 million to settle claims that the utility failed to contain chromium that was polluting the groundwater in Hinkley, Calif., after an agreement was approved by a water quality control board Wednesday.
The settlement between PG&E and the Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board says the utility will pay $1.8 million to the State Water Resources Control Board Waste Discharge Permit Fund.
