Law360, New York (November 18, 2005, 12:00 AM ET) -- Electronics power management company O2 Micro International has won another round in its litigation over AC/DC converter patents, this time against Tokyo-based Sumida Corporation.
A judge in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas ruled that Sumida’s inverter modules that contain controllers manufactured by Monolithic Power Systems infringe O2Micro’s patents for the controllers, and that the infringement is willful.
