New Patent Bolsters SmartDisk’s Attack

Law360, New York (March 09, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- Adding ammunition to its pending lawsuit, storage provider SmartDisk Corporation has tacked another patent onto its list of infringement charges against French electronics manufacturer Archos S.A.

SmartDisk announced the suit’s expansion on Wednesday, nearly two months after the United States Patent and Trademark Office granted the company a patent for “enhanced digital data collector for removable memory modules.”
