Law360, New York (January 22, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A California appeals court has sided with a handful of Cintas workers in a long-standing case over the so-called living wage ordinance, ruling that a Los Angeles ordinance limiting the scope of the law must be chucked.
On Tuesday, the California Court of Appeal for the Second District granted the petition of Hermelinda Aguiar, Alicia Maria Aldrete, Aurora Banuelos, Maria Alicia Gonzalez and Josefina Contreras for writ of mandate in the class action.
