Bloomberg's Fair Use Defense Beats Swatch Analyst Call Suit
Bloomberg LP didn't commit copyright infringement when it distributed a recording and transcript of a conference call between Swatch Group Ltd. executives and analysts, a New York federal judge ruled Thursday, holding that the publication of the recording was “fair use.”
