Boart Can't Block Rival Drilling Co. From Poaching Workers

Drilling company Boart Longyear Inc. lost its bid in Nevada federal court to bar competitor National EWP Inc. from recruiting its current and former employees, whom the drilling firm said had signed noncompete agreements, after a judge ruled Thursday that the company's chances were dim.
