Plaintiffs Appeal Dismissal From ReNu MDL

Law360, New York (May 27, 2010, 2:37 PM ET) -- Two groups of plaintiffs recently tossed from multidistrict litigation alleging Bausch & Lomb Inc.'s ReNu MoistureLoc contact lens solution caused eye infections have appealed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

The plaintiffs, who are seeking more than $10 million in damages, gave notice to the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina of their appeal Wednesday.

The cases, originally filed in Puerto Rico in September 2006, were consolidated with the MDL in South Carolina two months later.
