Law360, New York (June 18, 2010, 6:57 PM ET) -- AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP agreed Friday to pay $103 million to settle claims from several classes of consumers and third-party purchasers in a multidistrict litigation accusing drugmakers of scheming to artificially boost average wholesale drug prices.
In two separate settlement agreements filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the pharmaceutical giant promised to pay $13 million to resolve claims from consumers and third-party payors in the state and another $90 million to settle with all other consumer class members, third-party payor class members...
