Judge Tosses Cigna Case Managers' FLSA Class Action

Law360, New York (December 06, 2010, 7:35 PM ET) -- Insurer Cigna Corp. and subsidiary Intracorp are off the hook in a putative class and collective action alleging they willfully violated state and federal wage-and-hour laws by failing to pay disability clinical case managers a premium rate for overtime hours.

In an order filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Judge Colleen McMahon signed off on the parties' stipulation to dismiss the lawsuit.
