Law360, New York (March 15, 2012, 12:46 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday consolidated two putative antitrust class actions that allege the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and an affiliate fixed prices for human egg donation services by setting maximum compensation rules.
In granting the motion to consolidate, U.S. District Judge Saundra Brown Armstrong ruled that both suits seek to represent a class against the ASRM, the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology and all fertility clinics and egg donor agencies that agreed to comply with both organizations' rules regarding egg donor compensation....
